shotgun and .44 mags.

i'm no expert with shotguns and pistols but can you fit the smallest shotgun guage shell into a .44 magnum???

I'm probably being fooled but i though i'd ask.

.410/.45 Colt

I think what you're getting at here is the chambering of some firearms (Taurus Judge, NEF Rifle/Shotgun, some Derringers?) to be able to fire both .45 Colt and .410 bore shotgun shells.

Not all .410's can fire .45 Colt and not all .45 Colts can fire .410, but some guns are designed to chamber both.

.410? It would be close but the round would be too long and a little too wide. Now, there are some gun chambered in .410, that you can fire .45LC (round that the original colt revolver fired) in like the Tarus Judge. Supposedly they also have one comming out that'll fire .454 casull and .410.
