This last week I received the final parts and assembled my "all purpose target/hunting rifle".
Rem 700 varmint with HS Precision stock (two forward sling swivel mounts) and Leupold 3.5-10x scope. B-Square bipod.
After zeroing the scope, I shot a ragged sub 1 inch hole (5 shots/100 yards).
Load was Fed cases, WWLR primers, 48 grains of WC 852 surplus powder and 174 grain FMJBT bullets, also surplus. MV was 2375. That's a little slow for longer distances, so I'm going to try some 4985 on the next go around.
Much fun! Gotta get squared away for various scoped rifle matches coming up.
