Shooting the Taurus Raging Bull 454 with one hand (260Gr Mag-Tech)

Trigger Finger

That's one handed with a table brace. My friend sometimes shoots his 500 magnum Smith & Wesson revolver one handed standing. He's about 6-6 and about 290 lbs. But it rocks him back a little!

Reload,,,No sir,,Thats right out of the box.
This is one sweet gun when it comes to recoil. Have you ever seen the ports on the barrel?

The recoil with the .45 Long Colt is not much at all. Here is another video shooting the .45 L/C first, and then the 454 260Gr

Those ports do work!
I have the FA SA .454 and load them with Freedom arms loading data.
My load is underlined, I am at 37.5 grains.

I have not fired mine with one hand and just may not.
Before hunting season this past fall I would shoot it 10-15 rounds 3-4 times a week and one day while shooting from a rest at 100 yds I came away with a deep bruse to my palm. It is tender yet but that has a lot to do with the 3 shots I took during deer season. The 1st was a little lower in the front shoulder than I wanted and the next one missed with a 40 yard neck shot to anchor it, then the 3rd hit the mark.

I will have to video the recoil of mine some time. Just for learning purposes that is.
I dry fire mine 30 -40 times each range session and still have not mastered the trigger. I will not have anything done to the trigger because this is strictly a hunting handgun. I will master it just the way it is.:)
