Shipping Question

I have never bought a gun from another state to be shpiped to a FFL dealer. Just asking what the usual "protocall" is for doing such. Meaning, do you call the dealer you want is shipped to, and ask permission... do they usually charge a fee? Just don't want to do anything inproper. Thanks.

Yes to all queries.............
Get the FFL you want to buy from, to contact where you want it shipped( your local FFL).
They will have to mail copies of FFL's to each other before shipment..........
Typically they will charge you a transfer fee, of $25.00-$100.00...depending on if it's a new, or used piece.........
And of course, you will have to pay freight on the Incoming order.
Then the usual 4473's................
And background NICS check.............
Follow these to the T, and you'll be cool...........
And DO NOT do it any other way....PERIOD.
