shiney sp-101

I just bought a new spurless hammer sp 101 with the highly polished finish. How can I take off this shiney finish? It is too shiney, it almost shines in the dark.

Getting it bead blasted with the little plastic balls as used in panel shops for paint removal might do the trick ?

Or go with the very durable non reflective NP3 finish by Robar.

I'm thinking the SP101 has a slightly brushed or "burnished" finish. To match that type of finish, you need some 400 grit sand paper. Be gentle.
