seperate fact from fiction

I was just wondering if anyone had an layman’s interpretation of S254, the bill that is now going to the House. I read what the NRA and GOA had out on their websites, but can anyone give an accurate and complete list of the proposals that are included? For instance I heard that there was an addition that held owners liable for crimes incurred with guns that were stolen from them. I also had someone tell me that not only is importation of hi-cap (over 10) mags banned (importation ban doesn’t count one manufactured in the US, right?), but the ownership of such magazines as well. Could someone clear me up on this? I am having some problem seperating fact from fiction! TIA, SCatt

Well...

I read the whole bill...the original bill only contained the gun stuff I mentioned. Apperently some of the amendments to that bill contain a bunch of gun control regs.
I'd say its all true
