Hello everyone, I am trying to find out which would be best for me. As I mentioned in another thread I got a side mounting scope rail for my AK. I've seen from some of your comments that there are other options besides a side rail for mounting a red dot sight.
My question is. Are there any big advantages or disadvantages of having scout optics (mounting my red dot on the gas block of my AK) or standard optics by way of mounting it on my receiver?
