Scored an M&P40

Just picked up a new S&W M&P40. Don't remember the trigger being this gritty. Maybe I'll wait a few hundred rounds before I consider a trigger job. Anybody else notice the same thing with their's?

I own five M&P's and can tell you that the trigger does get smoother with use.

I would however recommend that you invest in the new Apex Tactical sear. This $29 (5-minute) upgrade will give you a trigger that is just this side of AMAZING! I not only upgraded my standard models with the Apex sear, but I also upgraded my M&P Pro's... Yes, it is that good.

Apex also sells a new striker block that takes all the grittiness out of the trigger, for a really smooth pull.

Have a great time with your new shooter.

I have M&P's. Both the .40 and the .45. I installed the apextactical sears in both. Amazing, shot improvement immediately. I would recommend this for anyone that owns an M&P. Love the M&P. Enjoy shooting even more.
