Scope for Super Redhawk .454

I recently acquired a Ruger Super Redhawk .454 Casull that I want to try deer hunting and possibly bear hunting. I figure the maximum range that I'll be taking a shot at is 75-100yds.

Is a 2x scope good enough for that, or should I go with a little more magnification? These are the 2 I'm trying to decide between:

The 2x is perfect for hunting. I have a 2x Leupold on my SRH in 480 Ruger. More magnification limits the field of view and using a scope on a handgun takes some getting used to. Additional magnification only magnifies just how unsteady you are. It is not like a rifle. I use a monopod. It goes with me everywhere in the woods and I practice quickly getting set up/aiming using the monopod.

im thinking of a red dot or holo sight instead of standard scope on my sbh.

I would not go any higher than 2 power. If you are going to be in dark thick woods I would go red dot at that distance.
