I just bought a Remington 700 Mountain Rifle in 7mm-08 and a Nikon Buckmaster 4x40 scope to put on it. I am probably going to use some Leupold rings (because I have some laying around) which means I will use a Leupold base.
What's better and why? A one piece base or a two piece base? I have always hear one piece for strength, but does it really matter?
