Savage Short Action DBM question

Hello
I have a Savage rifle which came with the blind magazine, centerfeed action. I would like to convert to DBM to take advantage of a HS or Bell Carlson stock. Is it the case that all I would need to do is buy the dbm and bottom metal? If so where would you shop to biy these items? Thank you

You can buy it from Savage. You will need to buy the bottom metal,and the base plate for the magazine. The magazine box and follower in your rifle is the same magazine,it just doesn't have the base plate on it.
