Savage Model 29-B Pump .22 LR

I am trying to find out when these were made. I have one with no serial number, which I'm told dates it before 1968.

Anything anyone can tell me?

The Savage Model 29 was made from 1929 to 1967, all with SN's - yours should have it's SN stamped into the front face of the receiver, just below the magazine tube throat.
