Him, Before we leave, I figured I'd better post this.
SANTA delivered in a big way a few days early.
Last weekend I took the girls (3 and 1) to a gunshow in Jefferson, WI.
Not a lot there, and my friend had ALL day so I casually mention we could go buy the local gunshop....
835 woodland camo trophy slugster combo last one marked down to $360.
Look, well, it isn't left handed, put gun down, walk out door. (Propelled by 3 small children and 1 large dog playing outside...)
Wife insists I buy it.
(That is my story and I am sticking too it.)
Looked on the TFL history for comments, called my friend in Tx who has the 835 I had shot once before, call an Uncle who has a rifled Shotgun barrel with cantilever mount (but it isn't a Mossie), Search for shotgun scope on net to get idea of how hard a scope will be to obtain.
Went back tonight to see if it was still there.
It ISN'T now...
Just under $380 out the door.
The rifled slug 24" barrel with cantilever mount,
the 24" smoothbore with ulti-mag choke,
dual comb stock, AND woodland Camo.
If it hadn't been there I might have ordered a BPS with cantilever barrel.
So now, Can I shoot it before the 25th or do I have to wait for Santa to deliver?
P.S. this is my FIRST brand new gun!
And I post it on TFL before the deadline!
