Sale choices-Daly vs. Mossberg (for HD)

My local Big 5 has the Charles Daly Field Tactical on sale for $199 and the Mossberg 500 Persuader for $249. From lurking here, I have a feeling for which way this will go, but which is the better deal? TIA.

If for no other reason... aftermarket parts...
The proven reliability of the mossy also is a big factor.
I have nothin' but good to say regarding my various correspondence with them.
And the top of the receiver safety can't be beat as the truly ambidextrous safety that it is. Also IMHO That feature makes it the top choice for defensive/tactical shotgun...

Just tell her the safety feature is well worth the 50 bucks! does she shoot? If so get the 20 gauge (unless she likes 12's) so the both of you are capable of utilizing the best!

Well, I had to pass this time 'round. Too much on the old credit card. Big 5 apparently puts this gun on sale several times a year, so I'll check back once my CC balance comes down. Thanks for all the feedback (God, I hate that word!) :cool:
