Saiga scope mount - need help

I'm having problems with my Saiga quick detach scope mount for my Saiga 7.62x39. I've adjusted it per the factory instructions for a snug fit on the side rail, but can't seem to get a repeatable zero with it. Getting much better performance and consistency from the iron sights right now. Anyone have similar experiences or recommendations?

Here's a procedure for tightening a Kobra,this applies to scopes as well.Look towards the bottom of the page where it shows how to tighten the lever that snugs down the scope.
