Safety pins on back of cylinder?

My Pietta 1860 has 6 safety pins to engage the hammer slot. But my Uberti Walker has only 1. Should it have 6?

Nope, the single safety pin is correct. The Walker, early pocket models, and I think maybe the Paterson had only one pin.
