I handled one at a local shop recently. Apparently the receiver is made by Beretta. The cost was $799. It had really pretty wood.

SA told me that 300 were built w Breda (Italian) receivers, the rest are Australian (all are forged, not cast)). Barrels are Wilson blanks SA turns themselves. The other parts are older/unused GI parts that are cleaned/refinished.

What caliber? I heard that they'll be shipping it in .308 early 2002.I handled one at a local shop recently.
