S&Wmod.13-3

I have a S&W mod 13-3. It has a nickle finish and a heavy barrel.I contacted S&W and they said it was made in 1984. It's a good shooter and easy to carry concealed.How can I tell if the finish is original? I make most of the gun shows and I have yet to find a revolver like it. Info appreciated

I would recommend you make a post at Shooters.com. There is a fellow on there that goes by Smithnut. He has exceptional knowledge of S&W guns.
