Although a quick google search reveals some current models with the name Viking Tactics tied to them.
Thanks everyone especially Hawg for info on the Iver Johnson.
Here's whats going on.
An out of state friend of mine has this revolver and called me about it.
He wanted me to try and get some info on it. Said it was a topbreak S&W-Viking. Problem is I won't be able to communicate with him about pistol to get any more info for about two months as he's out of country. Pistol's at his home.
I've searched before opening this thread and couldn't find a Viking model produced by S&W.
Friend stated the word Viking was on side of barrel. More than likely it is an Iver Johnson -Viking in 38S&W cal.
Would anyone have a value, production dates on this pistols if infact it's the Iver Johnson Viking? Again finish is supposed to be around 75%.

IJ made a 5 shot Viking in .38 S&W. Most IJ's had plastic grips with an owl head logo. Not real high quality. Value even in excellent shape will be minimal.
Here's one which IMHO sold for a lot more than it's worth.
