S&W Cylinder Needed

I need a Smith cylinder but have a problem.
What I need is a non-fluted, stainless .41 magnum cylinder. Smith as them out the "ying yang" for around $140 a pop. Brownells has them but get theirs from Smith. (I know y'all see this comin' ;))
The problem lies in the fact that I refuse to spend a dime with Smith right now. At the Bianci Cup I told the smith rep. (who left after the first day after being encouraged to do so by several other sponsors, myself included) that I would not buy as much as a tie tack from them until they resended the agreement.
Does anyone make cylinders fitted for Smiths? I have several contacts for single action cylinders but none for double action cylinders.

(I'll be gone over the weekend visiting some other TFL members so will not be answering replies soon but do appreciate any in put.)

You're out of luck, I'm afraid.

I know of no one who makes aftermarket cylinders for S&W revolvers.

Thanks Mike. That is what I was afraid of and since you have confirmed it now I know. :(
Well, the project will have to wait until something happens with Smith. I will not give them money.....even for parts.
The project was a 657 that I was going to fit a second cylinder to chambered in .41 GNR magnum. But the gun is sweet enough just the way it is any way. :)

Does gunparts have them?I lost my catalog someplace in this 10 pounds of S**t in a 5 pound house so I can't look it up.They get used stuff quite ofton and it might be worth a try calling them and finding out.

Thanks fellers. I checked with gunparts and they do not have anything that new. (The non-fluted stainless .41 mag. cylinder is a unique bird.)

Hanfgunhunting, I've already got several Rugers but this is a Smith project. ;) The problem arises from the fact I will not spend money with them right now.

Gunslinger, Why not try the same thing with a Taurus? They look like a S&W, although the lockwork is different, so you could almost have your cake and shoot it too! ;)
