S&W Build date???

I've got a S&W 25-2, Serial # N 458355.
Can one of you fine gentlemen tell me what year it was built?

One of my all-time favorite Smiths - I have one that dates from 1975. Yours is from the 1977-'78 period.

This thing is a deep dark blue 6'' beauty. Target Hammer, Target Trigger, VERY SWEET.
BUT, I got the itch for an M1A and I've got a deal working........
Looks like the old 25-2 might be sold.
