S&w 4563tsw

I scored a LNIB 4563TSW over the weekend. It's a police trade in that saw very little carry, let alone shooting.

It has the rail, for now ;), but other than that, I love this pistol.

Light weight, 8+1 capacity, DA/SA in a commander sized package. I'll post a range report next week. If it shoots as well as it looks and feels, I will have finally found a duty pistol I can shoot IDPA with.

Any other 4563 fans here? Regards 18DAI.

Congrats on your new S&W 4563TSW! I don't have one but I do have a S&W CS45 (kinda the sub compact version), which I really love. I think S&W metal framed autos are really underappreciated and overlooked. Better for us though, because deals are out there.
I consider them to be on a par with my SIGs and my CS is actually more fun to shoot IMO. Accurate, 100% reliable, very little muzzle flip and negligible recoil for a .45.
I bet you're going to love it!
Pics and range report when you get 'em. :)

I, too have the CS45 and love it. I also am the former owner of the 4513TSW, and that was one of the best shooting pistols that I've ever owned. It shot right up with a friend of mine's Kimber Tactical, and boy was he pissed about it.....:p

I think you're going to be very happy with it.
