S&W 29-3 barrel question

I just purchased a 29-3, the tag says 5 7/8 barrel. I did measure and thats what I come up with. When measuring the barrel its from the front tip to the very back where the barrel ends right. Or does S&W just round it off to say its a 6 inch barrel?

It would be a six inch according to SW.
