Now that I got my tax refund, I'm going to buy a 1911 5".
The Black Stainless S.A. 1911 with adjustable Bomar night sights is the exact gun I want. But I gotta order one...none in stock.
My question is... I don't want the magwell on it. How is that replaced?
Every one I have seen was part of the mainspring housing. Is this correct?
I'm hoping so, beacuse I could kill 2 birds with one stone. Removing the magwell and the key lock device by simply swapping mainspring housings.
Anyone have a S.A. 1911 with the comp magwell and is sure how it is attached?
