Rust proof coatings that will not void a warranty?

Hi,

I need suggestions on what is the best aftermarket finish to prevent corrosion.

I'd be interested in getting a P226 and possibly a HK P7 done.

Due to the salt air and humidity in Hawaii I need something that will WORK. Ideally the process would not void the warranty.

Please also include the cost and any web sites that could provide mo info.

No website... but, give Walter Birdsong a call at 601-939-7448, Florence, MS. His Black-T finish is outstanding. I spoke with him a couple of months back... his finish is good for a minimum of 40,000 hours saltwater immersion!
I'm going to send my P7M8 to him soon. He did my P220, great job and has held up well.
He'll be able to answer your warranty questions. I believe his price is ~$150, incl 2 mags.
