OK, I have a 7.5 SRH 454 CASULL its had a scope on it for a year or so & it groups pretty well. I took the scope off to use it hog hunting and noticed it was grouping 5'' to the left.I had installed fiber optic fire sights sometime ago as a up grade to the stock sights.I checked the crown and noticed it had 2 very small rough spots on the right side of the crown. In order to make it group I had to move the sights all the way left.I dont remember the factory sights being like that. nor were the fire sights set like that either. The question is would those rough spots in the right side of the crown change the POI to the left. P.S this thing still groups pretty well just 5'' left @ 50 yards. The gun has a nice smooth trigger job,& was shot off sand bags.SO if Ya'll have any advise I sure could use it. THANKS GUYS.

Dings on the crown will absolutely hose you.

The 454s are all stainless steel, so any local gunsmith can do a quick re-crown without having to mess with the finish. Highly recommended, if there's visible dings.

Throw away your steel cleaning rod and switch to brass or aluminum :).
