Will the Ruger PC 40 convert to accept magazines from other guns, i. e. can I use my SIG magazines in it? I'm looking to upgrade my S&W 5904 & Marlin Camp rifle in 9mm to 40 S&W to have one caliber, one magazine for both. Any comments, suggestions or other ideas? The SigSauer .40 is now my departments required sidearm, no choice but the Sig. Thanks, FM12

The Ruger carbines were made to only work with their magazines unlike the Marlin Camp carbines.

Yep. You'll need the Ruger 944 mags for it. Of course you could always buy a 944 too...........

even though on the Ruger forum I believe someone did once do a convert on one for a glock or beretta, can't remember if it was 9mm or 40 but it sounded like a good bit of work to get it done.
doesn't some other manufacturer (who shall remain nameless) make a carbine that you can choose Sig mags to fit in?
