Ruger P95 magazine question...

Do they take the same mags as the P89? Are there any brands to avoid?

Yes. Stick with Ruger factory or Mec-Gar magazines.

They are interchangeable.

BUT--oddly enough, I have one aftermarket mag that won't lock the slide back on my P89 that WILL lock the slide back on my P95. Can't quite figure that one out. It feeds perfectly in either gun.

I thought Ruger changed magazines on their newer P-89's so that the older hi-capacity magazines they made for the p-85 and older P-89's wouldn't work on their newer 9mms.
