Went to the range yesterday to shoot my Ruger Old Army with Scope. The target was shot at about 30 yards with my conversion cylinder and my 200 gr SWC reloaded ammunition.
I found the scope on ebay with the mount. The mount attaches to the rear sight and one hole has to be driller for the front screw. I have had the parts lying around for about a year or more and finally finished it. Shoots pretty well!
Besides the scoped Ruger, and my second Ruger in the picture, the stainless, I have just bought a THIRD Ruger Old Army. Should have it next week. All of them were bought used for about the price of a new Remington 1858.
In my opinon the Ruger Old Army is the best BP handgun and one of my most fun toys.
