I didn't really have the money (the dealer wanted $1000) but the kicker is that the rifle portion of my safe is absolutely JAM packed.

I have a feeling I'm going to regret the decision for a long time...

I couldn't meet all the sellers terms initially on this 1895GS, but after some serious reconsidering, I ponied up.

I had a Ruger No. 1 do this to me. It was chambered in .218 Bee. Man was that rifle pretty. $625 to walk out with it. But the wife gave me that look. You know that one...

Still think a few nights in the dog house would have been worth it.

Dont buy a #3 in 45-70, unless you REALLY want to know what pain is.


Those #1's sure are purdy though.
