Only the Mk II mags will work on a Mk II. The MK I mags only hold 9 bullets, the MK II mags hold 10. You might be able to slide a MK I mag into a MK II, but that doesn't guarantee that it will work without jamming. The MK III mags also hold 10, but have an entirely different release.
