Ruger Mini-14 Target

I am thinking about getting rid of my AR and picking up a Ruger Mini-14 Target. Does anyone have one that they would like to tell us about? I'd like to talk to someone that has one before I go out and get it.

I can't speak for the targets, but I am very happy with my SS ranch rifle.
The gun is rugged, light, easy pointing, and I can hit a paper plate off hand at 100 yards with it no problem. The target is rumored to be considerably more accurate, but MOT groups is all I was going for to begin with and I certainly got them.

You'd probably be happier with a match upper for your AR.

My AR is a Colt HBAR. It is very accurate. I simply do not like it. I bought it new many years ago. I have not shot it for nearly 5 or 6 years. All it does is sit in the safe.

I have always been interested in a Mini-14 I just decided to go for the AR instead. I now wish I would have just bought a Mini-14 from ARS (Accuracy Rifle Systems) years ago.
