Ruger LC9 with Lasermax, laser short out?

I just picked up a LC9 with the Lasermax on it. When it was test fired first round the laser was on and shut off when the weapon discharged and did not come back on until I removed battery and reseated battery, then off again after next shot. I have left a message with lasermax last night no call back yet.

I am wondering if anyone has had similar trouble with the lasermax? All the reviews I read never mentioned this problem. I will see what lasermax has to say and post back.

IT sounds like a poor contact on the battery, have you tried changing the battery just to see if that mitigated the issue? Seems really odd that the firing would be the trigger for a failure and then pulling the battery "resets" it.
