Ruger in CA question

Does any one know why the Bear Cat or the New Single Six, is not approved for Califronia?

Is it that Ruger doesn't want to go to the trouble, or is it something else?

BTY how do you make any sense of the Gov. list of approved guns. The model #s for the guns are different.

Certain single-action revolvers are exempt from needing to be listed. Contact your dealer and it should be able to sell you the Ruger single-action of your choice.

They are exempt, so not on the approved list. (just like the Blackhawks)
