Ruger 22 K Hornet accuracy

I like to get the most out of my rifles as far as accuracy goes but on a budget. I have a Ruger Mod.77 22 Hornet. Since I am a hand loader I had it reamed to the 22 K Hornet so I can get more life out of the cases. I also made a shim out a coke can and installed it between the two parts of the bolt to tighten up the head space and that made a big difference on group size. My developed accuracy load for varmint or maybe I should say squirrel is Rem.6 1/2 primer, LilGun @ 12.3 pushing a 35 Gr. V-max. The loading could use more testing but I have been waiting for spring. I was shooting 3 shot groups with two shots in a small hole and the next out to about 3/8".
Are there any ideas on how to improve the rifle accuracy?

Try doing a load workup with small pistol primers if you aren't already, Rem 1 1/2s or CCI 500s.
