Ruger 22/45

Just got a new one and was psyching myself up for what I was led to believe was a nightmare...Fieldstripping...But oh joy just followed the book and was sucessful..Twice...I did find it a bit convoluted...I bought the pistol on the spot because I liked it but I know little about model variations...Mine is blued and has a 6.5 in barrel...Says Target on the side...Is there another model 512?..or something like that..?

The 22/45 comes in a 5 1/2, and 4in barrel. I have both of these. How much was the 6 1/2 in model???? I have not yet seen it.

You must be the proud owner of a 6 7/8" bull barrel 22/45 Target model. Is your barrel round or slab-side? I have the slab-side model, Ruger no longer manufactures them. So have you gotten a chance to try it at the range yet? BTW, now that you know how to assemble it, ACCESSORIZE http://www.ontargetguns.com
