New Ruger 77 357 - point of impact high?

Hi Folks I bought a new Ruger 77 357 a few weeks ago. It's a nice rifle, but with the iron sights, it seems to shoot high from the bench. I've moved the rear sights to as low as they can go and with 125gr and 158gr factory 357 mag ammo, it still shoots high when I shoot it from the bench.

Has anyone experienced a similar problem? do I need a taller from sight? If so, what is the dovetail width and what height front sight do I need? Thanks in advance

How high is it shooting and at what range? Are you sure your sight picture is right? Sometimes they're set up to "bury" that front sight. If you are sure you need to change the sight, check Brownell's. They sell a Marble dovetail in various heights. You'll have to guesstimate the height you need, maybe get one of those laser bore sighters. Get a brass punch and change 'er out. I've done it a couple times with no issues (not on a Ruger, but a dovetail is a dovetail). Good luck.
