Rossi M92 - Is this normal?

Ordered a 16" .357 a couple of weeks ago.
Smooth action, shoots great.

My one question is:
Every thing works perfect unless the rifle is canted more than 45 degrees. Then, it will sometimes eject a live round along with the empty. I have read about putting a shim under the right side cartridge carrier to snug things up a bit but didn't know if this was normal for the '92.

Again, as long as I hold it in the normal firing position it works just fine.

Thank for the help

New gun? May just be stiff or has a burr inside somewhere. If you can access some dummy rounds, I'd lube the shell stop area and run the action until it stops doing that or gets worse. If it gets worse, send it back.
