Rifle Help

So I have been mulling over my next rifle purchase and have decided to build/purchase something that will be somewhat unique. Here is what I am at so far:
I want a 338 RCM, but I do not like the stock nor the weight of the Ruger Hawkeye offering.
I also like the remington Ti rifles.
Would it be possible to have a Remington Ti rebarreled to 338? I suppose I would just need a 338 barrel in 20" with a gun smith to fit the barrel to the action, but what action would I need as the 338 RCM is based on the 375 Ruger and it is not offered in the remingtons?

I am open to any other suggestions as well, but my thought on going this route is to get a quality rifle for under the $2000+ price tag on most semi-custom jobs. I also want the rifle to be extremely lightweight and the Ti's are around 5.5 lbs. The reason on the 338 RCM is it's functionality out of a 20" barrel, I don't know of another caliber in the same size class that will perform so well out of that length of barrel.

Your thoughts?
