Rex Powder?

Grafs has Rex Powder on sale--$26.95 for 2.2 pounds, and if you buy five of those they'll pay the hazmat charges.

They show some loads for it in the Grafs flyer, and Rex #2 can be used for both 9mm and .45 (which I load for).

Have any of you used this? How was it? Meter well? Pet loads? Eleven pounds of powder for $139.50 would be a great deal if it works well.

If you look on their website, at page 25 of their most recent flyer, they indicate loads for various calibers.

Rex are amongst the most popular powders in Italy, due (basically) to their low cost (approx.25€ x 1Kg). Originally made for 12-gauge loads, they are used on a variety of handgun loads, from 9mm to 357Mag, 40SW, 45ACP etc.

I was looking at that same deal... how's it compare with the old standards like Unique, the "dots" etc. in .45ACP?
