revolver grip profile on new walther pistols

I always thought that the shape of a revolver grip fits my hand better than most semi auto pistols... It seems that the grip shape can be (and is) optimized for the fit of the hand, rather than being a compromise which must also house a magazine.

Now am I just imagining things, or does the new Walther pistols (PPQ and PPX) have grip shapes that seem down right revolver like... The shape seems like a round-butt K-frame to me. Or a Hogue grip for a GP100, only smaller.

It makes for an odd looking pistol, to be sure... I have not shot one of these walthers, but I bet they are comfortable.

WooHoo... post number 700 !

Ha! That's a great observation. The funny thing is I'm just about to take the plunge on a PPS. I love the way it fits my hand and compared to the ones you mentioned it's grip is shaped like a deck of cards.
