Revolver frame size comparison

Is there any correlation between/among the sizes of S&W double action revolvers with Taurus DA revolvers? If so, can someone kindly clue me in on the designations and the size progression, and perhaps guide me as to what Taurus sizes most closely correspond to what S&W sizes?

I'm primarily interested in grip options, which seem limited for Taurus revolvers.

M85 = J Frame

M66/65/80/82/84 = K frame

Taurus Trackers Frame size "Compact"..smaller than a K larger than a Colt D
Tracker also have Mono Grips..they have a grip stud similar to Dan Wesson Revolvers

Hope this helps...

Comparisons to Colts don't help. What I'm looking for is to see if there is any correlation between S&W frames sizes and Taurus frame sizes. Such as

S&W J frame = Taurus small frame [I'm not suggesting that correlation exists, but that's the format I'm looking to establish]
