retiming a revolver?

I was wondering I just stumbled across a nice deal for a colt king cobra that has a little late timing. I was wondering how much it would cost to have the timing redone? Just wondering before I jump on it.

Without seeing the gun, I could not be sure what is wrong. In most Colt's of that design, the cylinder will not quite lock up in single action until the trigger is pulled if the hammer is cocked slowly. This is normal. If the gun is badly out of time, it probably needs new parts and a gunsmith would have to look at it anyway.
