I'm not familiar with the pistol. In the other thread you said: "you unscrew it and place a silencer on the threads under that."

What does it look like unscrewed?

Unless its integral with the barrel, or blind pinned and welded in place, why wouldnt it just unscrew?

If its neither of the above, it went on, so it should come off. Pinned and welded will to, just ore work.

Its possible that the FH was put on with either Loctite or Rocksett.

Loctite requires heat to break it down
Rocksett requires water to break it down

Either will come loose, just more of a PITA then if it was just screwed on

Stick a screw driver through the slots and see if it will turn. Counterclockwise. Failing that, panic ,take it to a gunsmith and let him stick a screwdriver through the slots and turn it. He probably has a specially named tool for that anyway. $50.00 please.

This is the gun with the cap installed and flash hider removed. Same cap comes with my gun to screw on to protect the threads.

I take it the bottom pic is not yours but you're trying to make yours like that?

Did you try calling or emailing Ruger customer service?
