Removing bolt from Ithaca 37

Does anyone have any words of wisdom as to how to remove the bolt from an Ithaca Mod. 37 SG? I've got the stock, trigger/hammer group and shell ejector removed. But it isn't obvious what the next move is to get the bolt out. Do you have to remove the corn cob to get the actuator bar out? If so that means I have to find or make a large spanner wrench.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR COMPLETE TAKEDOWN INCLUDING REPLACING FIRING PIN OF ITHACA MODEL 37 REPEATER

First remove the stock, by taking out the two butt plate screws, remove the butt plate, then with a socket wrench or a long screw driver loosen the screw in the bottom of the hole bored in the stock, the screw which fastens the stock to the trigger plate and the stock can then be pulled off.

To remove the group assemblies, first remove the trigger plate screw, andpull the trigger plate assembly out of the receiver rearward, then remove the two carrier locking screws and the carrier screws, and by holding the receiverwith the magazine to the left and looking into the lower side of it pull the slide pin toward you with the finer nail until the action bar is released. The breech block, slide, and carrier can then be removed from the rear of the receiver.

To remove firing pin from breech block, first drive out the firing pin check pin, which is located at the rear of the breech block, then the firing pin and spring can easily be removed. Place new firing pin and spring in breech block and insert firing pin check pin, driving it in so it is flush with the sides of the breech block.

To reassemble gun reverse the above instructions.

Thus, ".kcolb hceerb eht fo sdeis eht htiw hsulf si ti os ni ti gnivird..." You get the picture.

Thanks a bunch Gary. That did it. The key is the slide pin. I didn't know it would move.

I have reversed all the instructions starting from where you left off. But the pain was too severe when I attempted to interchange my left hand with my right. I might have to leave the gun disassembled. ;)
