Remington announced the new R1 at the "Shot Show 1912". Here is a link with a short video. Video says the MSRP is $789.

Yep, looking at the cover of Guns and Ammo and it is right on the cover.

I have been seriously considering the r1 (enhanced) though. It has a few modern additions - front serrations and larger serations, fiber sites etc. and I don't think that a ss r1e is out yet.

Looks great though. I should compare to the Ruger because that was the one I wanted but have given up.

Remington is actually making theirs instead of just giving 5 units to the major magazines and having them shoot them.

I recently bought the base R1 for $550.00. I am pleased with it. I wonder whart the Stainless steel model will have above and beyond the basice pistol other than the stainless finish.
