The 887 was a very cheap budget gun offered by Remington for a brief time. They haven't been made for a while and weren't well thought of.

I'm not a shotgun guy--but my 870 just keeps putting them on target after almost twenty years--no matter how many different barrels and types of shells I stick on it. I like that in a gun.
