Remington 870 Undestroyable Ghost rings?

I managed to shake the sights of my Remington 870 in 10 slug rounds.

Anyone one know of a super reliable upgrade?

Were they the older factory sights or Wilson Combat?

Vang has a picture up on his site that shows a front blade that they whacked with a hammer. That seems pretty tough.
I use factory rifle-sights with AO nucs on them. These have not given me any trouble.

My 870 threw the front sight off after 3 slugs. Wilson Combat, epoxied on per the instructions. I ended up having my smith drill the sight, and drill and tap a hole in the barrel, then loctite the screw. Hasn't come off since!

Do you have a picture of this sight? Did sights come direct from Remington or were they after market products like Wilson Combat installs? Did the rear sight screws just come lose if this is how it was installed? Or was it just the front sight coming lose?

Wilson combat sights are GLUED on and will often shoot loose or off. They are supposed to be pinned also but I think they don't bother with the pin.
Get yourself an LPA front and rear sight set. They WON'T come off.
