When I bought my Police 870 about 6 months ago, it came without the PC safety. When my buddy recently bought his Marine Magnum 870 it did in fact come with the PC safety.
My Police 870 also still has the metal trigger guard housing as opposed to the newer plastic type trigger guard housing.
Not sure if the Police 870s are going to keep the traditional metal trigger guard and the standard safety but as of 6 months ago the parts were still being shipped out on the Police 870s.
