Remington 700 vs sf & vs sf II differences

I can see the current specs for the Remington 700 vs sf II, but I am interested in the differences between the vs sf and the recently discontinued vs sf II.

I realize they added the second swivel stud on the forearm, but what are the other differences?

I have a vssf in a 22-250 and the difference I see between the vssf and vssfII is the extra stud as you mentioned and the painted flutes I have seen on the vssfII

Thanks for the input. I was most interested to know if the stock is the same. I understand both have the aluminum bedding block and hoped they both had the same aramid fiber construction. I have been looking to buy one and find a lot more of the vs sf than the ii version.

How do you like yours? Are you happy with the accuracy?

The vssf has a HS Precision stock w/the aluminum bedding,i am not sure about the vssfIIs stock? but believe that's also a HS Precision. I've had my Remmy 700 vssf since the mid 90s and have been very happy with the performance and accuracy.
